TEDxYouth@Ross is not just an event that’s organized for students, it’s also organized by students.

Our all-youth Planning Committee is the group in charge of picking the event’s theme, and generally running the show! Members of the Planning Committee will learn how to put on an event from soup to nuts: they’ll interview and select the speakers, decide on the type of activities and entertainment to have, plan the publicity campaign, coach the speakers on their talks, organize the event video and photography, design the set and program, and much, much more.

Members of the Planning Committee will need to commit to meeting one hour after school every week, and 1-3 hours each week as the event gets closer. Members will earn middle school volunteer hours, and have a blast making their ideas become reality!
